I’m passionate about enabling people to use their natural talents to achieve extraordinary things. I teach leaders and organisations how focusing on purpose and using commitment-based leadership can generate extraordinary outcomes. I illustrate his insights by drawing on examples from his previous industry, flying, and military careers to explain principles that can be applied in any business.
I believe great performance is achieved by connecting people to a higher, common purpose. This leads to places to work in which people feel more fulfilled, there is a high level of discretionary effort, innovation and empowerment thrives – and sustainable results follow.

My career has spanned professional pilot; leading an aviation training and standards organisation; teaching post-graduates at an international college; and running a multi-billion pound procurement project. As a former Royal Air Force senior officer, I’ve been a Force Commander during combat flying operations and has seen service across the world. A seasoned crisis manager, a former international negotiator for the UK Government, and executive coach.

My background is Aviation whereby the key to success in this complex and fast paced environment is all about stakeholder engagement, alignment of teams and wider communities, project management and operational excellence in performance. We’re continuing to support all our clients during these uncertain times, as they navigate through the various challenges facing their organisations. Generally our work is about supporting people to take on new challenges and building the capability to lead when you don’t know the answer - and through this crisis we’re enabling our clients to do this from a place of care. Something is happening during these times that resonates with us on a deeply human level. It has made us realise how closely we are all connected and how new levels of trust, empathy and caring for one another must be part of how we organise ourselves moving forwards.
