I love meeting new people, seeing them realise their potential, potential they probably never thought they had. I love to learn, everyday you can learn something new, from someone or from a situation.
I am just as comfortable with the shop floor as I am with senior executives and enjoy coaching people at all levels. I have been leading change and transformation as a consultant for more than 30 years and also put all this experience into action in a senior executive role in the oil & gas industry. My main experience has been across many areas of manufacturing, also oil & gas, mining and construction. I founded and eventually sold my own business that focused on safety culture transformation (largely in the Oil & Gas industry). Safety is something I am particularly passionate about and I believe that everyone should be able to go home safe to their loved ones.
I love working with people and helping them to be the best they can be. I see the good in people and enjoy working at all levels of an organisation to help create a shift. I am a very open person and I believe that people find me authentic and empathetic and easy to talk to. I am a big believer in bringing care and humanity into the workplace and it is at the heart of the style that I bring. It certainly wasn’t the case in my early experiences in manufacturing and consultancy. I bring a real passion for what I do and I hope a sense of fun too. I build open and trusting relationships that enable me to have the difficult conversations that can be needed to bring about transformation.
